    There are dozens of different types of tablets on the market nowadays, but the iPad stands apart because it is an Apple product and runs on Apple's iOS operating system.
  • Lesson 2: Navigating Around the iPad

    In this lesson, we're going to start with the Home screen and show you around the iPad.
  • Lesson 3: iPad Settings

    In this lesson, we're going to explore Settings and teach you how to configure the various options that iPad provides.
  • Lesson 4: Using Safari, the iPad Web Browser

    Safari is the iPad web browser that you use to surf the Internet.
  • Lesson 5: Email and Messaging Accounts on the iPad

    There are two ways that you can set up email accounts on the iPad:You can add email accounts to the iPad itself, or you can use iTunes with your iPad connected to your computer.
  • Lesson 6: Maps

    In this lesson, we're going to learn how to use the Maps app to do various things.
  • Lesson 7: Audio on the iPad

    Your iPad also can be used as an iPod, by using the Music app.
  • Lesson 8: Video on the iPad

    Using the Videos app on your iPad, you can play and watch TV shows, movies, and podcasts that you download online.
  • Lesson 9: Pictures on the iPad

    In this lesson, we're going to talk about taking and managing the pictures you have on your iPad.
  • Lesson 10: Books on the iPad

    In order to read electronic books, or eBooks, on the iPad you have to install the iBooks app from the app store -- as we will learn in this lesson.
  • Lesson 11: Working With Apps

    If you just browse through the iPad app store, you'll see you can get an app for just about anything.
  • Lesson 12: People, Places, Appointments, and Helpful Utilities

    The iPad has several features to use to help organize your daily life, and in this lesson we will discuss how to use many of these tools.
